This painting came about because I realised that I see some people in just colour and not necessarily form (mind you I do like form). This painting was a milestone for me as it was one of the last I painted in oils and it marked a massive change in style . Michaela is one of the bravest women I've ever known and is one of the few women to tug my heartstrings. I also want to thank Michaela, as without her financial support this exhibition would not have been possible.
